ABraham Goldring

Abraham Goldring is a research scientist at the Psychopharmacology Research Program at The Nathan Kline Institute and a Professor of Psychology at Medgar Evers College, City University of New York.

Abraham Goldring received his undergraduate and graduate education from Fairleigh Dickenson University in Teaneck, New Jersey

Abraham Goldring has directed several extensive clinical research trials under The Nathan Kline Institute at Manhattan Psychiatric Center. His research interests include the development of new pharmacological and neurocognitive treatments. He is particularly interested in developing new assessments for complex disorders (affecting biological, psychological, and social constructs) and developing real-world assessments to evaluate for reiteration into the community.

In his private practice, Abraham Goldring develops and runs clinical trials for programs that integrate physical and psychological well-being and conducts psychological market research.

Abraham Goldring is serving a three-year term on the board of directors for the National Alliance on Mental Illness for New York State (NAMI). He is also on the New York State Committee for Veterans Affairs and is the active chair of the Wellness and Research Committees.

Abraham Goldring’s work has led to numerous publications and articles in leading scientific journals and has directed new programs for the betterment of care.

Haley Roper

Haley Roper is an experienced strategy consultant within the pharmaceutical and life sciences sector. Her main expertise is market access and drug pricing strategy for products used to treat rare diseases.


Haley Roper is currently pursuing her Master of Public Health at Columbia University, where she is primarily focused on comparative effectiveness and outcomes research. She completed her undergraduate education at Cornell University in 2021, earning a B.A. in Biological Sciences, as well as minors in Nutrition Science and Business for Life Sciences.

Throughout her educational career, Haley Roper has been involved in clinical and ethnographic research studies with Stanford University School of Medicine, Weill Cornell Medical College, and NYU Langone Health. Much of her research has focused on measuring how the social determinants of health impact patients’ healthcare quality and developing approaches for hospitals and medical schools to address these issues more effectively.

Brian Silston

Brian Silston, PhD, received his B.A. in Business Economics from Brown University, M.S. in Neuroscience and Education from Teachers College at Columbia University, and Ph.D. in Psychology from Columbia University. Brian has broad interests within social, cognitive and affective science, with his work spanning the effects of anxiety, stress and fear on neural functioning, learning, behavior and memory, to motivational influences on cogntiion and behaviors. Brian was the recipient of several awards during his PhD work, and has published empirical and theoretical works in top-tier journals, including Nature.


Along with colleagues at Columbia University, Brian is a co-director of the Center for Brain, Mind and Society. The research center focuses on educational outreach and programs to inform the public about important psychological and neuropsychological concepts, and is conducting research and developing programs to improve emotion regulation in youth, especially in the context of digital technology.

Prior to his academic career, Brian spent nearly two decades in investment banking, most recently as a principal for a merchant bank, where he advised and invested in dozens of transactions across a diverse set of industries and investment stages, and as an entrepreneur co-founded several technology companies and acted as chief data scientist.

As a result of his diverse and extensive experience across academia, educational settings, business and technology, Brian is uniquely positioned to apply concepts and tools from business, technology, and modern psychological theory to effect positive change in real world settings.

jaclyn Bendt

Jaclyn Bendt is a Registered Dietitian and Research Scientist. Jaclyn received her BS in Health and Rehabilitation Sciences with a focus in the Medical Dietetics program from The Ohio State University.


Jaclyn’s clinical expertise involves working in patient-facing roles where she provides research-based Medical Nutrition Therapy to clients with physical and psychological conditions. She utilizes motivational interviewing and cognitive behavioral strategies to shift mindset and improve self-efficacy, leading to successful patient results.


Working with healthcare practices and life science companies, Jaclyn serves as a marketing consultant where she develops creative recruiting strategies, social media marketing plans, and proactively helps to optimize specialized marketing strategies.


Jaclyn hosts her own podcast in which she conducts interviews with top industry practitioners to enhance collaboration within the healthcare field and to enhance professional development.
